XPlorer following the chain as its own read-only node

height 23745 of 23745 on the network. 9 peer(s) connected, 77 in its peer directory; 1041 block(s) followed and 865 pulled in by sync since this follower started. Caught up: this follower holds every block any peer has claimed, so every panel below is the whole chain. Genesis 1cf8655125cc1bbb…, producers genesis.

Following 7 seed(s) — their addresses are not published here, for the reason the peer table gives. Its store is held under its own Cerberus lease — no other node’s store is opened, touched or stopped.

HEX, Hybrid EXchange over the chain

Six dimensions. Infinite sovereignty.

HEX, the Hybrid EXchange over the chain. Buy STR with ETH or BNB, register an STR.domain, start a token, or bring a business onto SourceLess.

Register an STR.domain

Pay the dollar price in ETH or BNB. All of it becomes STR in your own wallet; the chain locks its required amount under your new name when you claim it with your own key.

This page needs scripting: a payment is a signature in your own wallet, and only the page script can ask your wallet for one. Everything else on this page reads without it.

How buying STR works

Any wallet extension that injects window.ethereum works: MetaMask, Rabby, Brave and others. WalletConnect is not offered, because it needs third-party code this page will not load.

  1. You pay ETH on Ethereum or BNB on BNB Smart Chain to the sale contract. The contract keeps nothing: it forwards the whole payment to the SourceLess payout wallet in the same transaction, or the transaction fails and nothing is taken. The review prints that wallet in full; check it.
  2. The STR you receive is your payment in USD divided by the STR price. The USD value of ETH or BNB comes from Chainlink on that chain. In the default mode the STR price is the sale price SourceLess sets on the sale contract: the contract lets it move at most 10% in any 24 hours, every change waits out a delay in public first, and it is never below the sale floor. The PancakeSwap STR/WBNB pool, averaged over at least an hour and priced in USD through Chainlink, is shown as a market reference; the pool is small, so it does not set the price. In pool mode the price follows that average but stays within 10% of the ratified reference. The page says which mode is live.
  3. The price is signed by the sale's quote service for your wallet account only, for a few minutes, and the contract refuses a signed price that is not the one it holds. Your minimum (the amount minus 1%) is written into the transaction, so if the price moves before it is included, the contract refuses it instead of selling you less.
  4. After the payment has enough confirmations (12 on Ethereum, 15 on BNB Smart Chain by default) the relayer pays the STR on SourceLess from a dedicated sale wallet. Every delivery carries a payload hash of the chain, the sale contract and your purchase number, sha256 of "kaupang:chain:contract:purchase", which the tracker shows so you can find it on SourceLess; each purchase is paid at most once.
  5. A name is priced in USD. The WHOLE amount buys STR at the same price, delivered to your own wallet. When you claim the name in your wallet, with your own key, the chain locks exactly the lock for that class (personal as read live, business as read live) under the name, and the rest stays yours to use. Today the chain locks exactly that amount and no more. A lock pegged to USD is a separate consensus change that is off until it is scheduled. The lock is not a fee: it comes back if you release the name.
  6. Nobody but you can register the name: a claim must be signed by the key of the wallet that will own it, and the relayer never holds or uses your key. It only pays STR to your address.
  7. Anyone can buy, and no STR.domain is needed to receive. To SPEND STR on SourceLess an address needs a claimed name: the chain names an unnamed address automatically on its first spend and locks the personal lock behind it, unless you register a name of your own first.
  8. If a purchase cannot be delivered (for example the name you gave does not resolve), it is not paid automatically. Refunds are made by hand from the payout wallet, to the paying address, after an operator checks it. Keep your transaction hash.
